Nonprofit Operations & Digital Marketing Coordinator

Organization: Art Sprouts, Inc.
Location: Bend, OR (On-site for onboarding; hybrid/remote possible after probation)
Employment Type: Part-time (10-20 hours per week, with potential for full-time)
Compensation: $20/hour
Classification: W-2 Employee

The Role

We are looking for a Nonprofit Operations & Digital Marketing Coordinator to support the Executive Director in managing day-to-day operations, financial administration, and digital marketing efforts. This position is ideal for someone who is responsible, proactive, and detail-oriented, capable of handling tasks with minimal supervision while also contributing to a collaborative team environment.

What You’ll Do

Operations & Administration

  • Ensure smooth nonprofit operations, assisting with scheduling, communications, and project coordination.
  • Support grant applications, reporting, and compliance.
  • Act as a reliable point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.

Finance & Bookkeeping (Essential)

  • QuickBooks Online proficiency is required (training available if needed).
  • Manage financial transactions, invoicing, payroll, and budgeting.
  • Prepare monthly reports for state contracts and ensure compliance with funding requirements.
  • Maintain financial records with transparency and accuracy.

Digital Marketing & Outreach (Essential)

  • Manage and grow ASI’s social media presence using Facebook Meta, Mailchimp, Canva, and GoDaddy Website Builder.
  • Develop engaging digital content and marketing strategies.
  • Coordinate community outreach and partnership efforts.

Who You Are

  • A self-starter with the ability to take initiative and work independently.
  • Trustworthy and responsible, able to manage financial and operational tasks with integrity.
  • A collaborator who thrives in creative, community-driven environments.
  • Bilingual: Fluent in English, Russian, and Ukrainian (required).
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. (valid work permit or authorization required).
  • Experienced in basic accounting and financial processes.
  • Proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail) and digital marketing tools.

Work Environment & Commitment

  • Directly reports to Mila Shelehoff, Executive Director.
  • On-site work is required during onboarding and probation (3 months); hybrid/remote possible afterward.
  • Part-time (10-20 hours per week) with potential for full-time growth.
  • Long-term commitment preferred.
  • Professional development opportunities: ASI will sponsor training at COCC if additional skills are needed.
